About Carol Garabedian
Carol obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University in 1998 and has been a Chartered Accountant with the Quebec Institute of Chartered Accountants since 2001. She has over 10 years of experience in financial analysis and auditing having worked for such firms as Provigo and KPMG.
Since 2007, Carol has been working as an independent consultant to a wide variety of companies within Quebec, both public and private, assisting them with their conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards, record keeping, corporate tax returns, financing opportunities, establishing adequate internal controls, support during an audit, general tax planning and risk mitigation, to name a few. She also assists individuals with filing their personal income tax returns.
Carol brings a wide range of business experience to our taxation course allowing students to understand the fiscal implications of group insurance and annuity plans to both corporations and their employees.
